Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Development Lead to lead a team of Full Stack and Frontend developers while remaining hands-on with coding and technical delivery. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React.js, Node.js, and GraphQL, with the ability to design scalable applications, mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and contribute to development whenever required. The role also requires strong DevOps knowledge and experience leading Agile software development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Full Stack and Frontend developers.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and code quality standards across projects.
• Remain hands-on by contributing to application development, debugging, code reviews, and resolving complex technical issues.
• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using React.js, Node.js, and GraphQL.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Drive engineering best practices including clean code, reusable components, automated testing, and design patterns.
• Lead sprint planning, estimation, and technical execution in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Review application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor developers through technical coaching, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot critical production issues when needed.

Required Technical Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years leading engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
  • React.js
  • Node.js
  • GraphQL
  • JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
  • HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development
• Experience building scalable REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Strong proficiency with Git and modern software development practices.

DevOps & Cloud Experience

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with release management, deployment automation, and production support.
