Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SDET Automation Engineer with strong frontend engineering expertise in React and Next.js. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing modern web applications and building scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. This role requires a strong combination of frontend development, automation engineering, and quality assurance skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance frontend applications using React and Next.js.
• Design and implement scalable UI automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Develop reusable React components and ensure application quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Create and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Validate frontend workflows, API integrations, responsive layouts, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Perform component testing and troubleshoot frontend and automation-related issues.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, backend engineers, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in code reviews and follow frontend development and test automation best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Expertise in Playwright automation and building reusable automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern frontend architecture.
• Experience with React Hooks, state management, reusable components, and component lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Next.js concepts, including server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), routing, and server/client components.
• Strong programming skills and experience writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Experience with API testing, REST APIs, and frontend-backend integrations.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience debugging frontend applications using browser developer tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jest, Vitest, or React Testing Library.
• Knowledge of frontend performance optimization and accessibility testing.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with API mocking, test data management, and test environment configuration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to contribute to both frontend development and test automation activities.
